What does "numbered edition" mean?
Every Lumenea puzzle is part of a fixed limited edition — 500 copies per design. Each puzzle carries a unique number, printed on its certificate of authenticity, from 001/500 to 500/500. No edition is ever reprinted. When 500 are gone, that edition is closed permanently.
How is my edition number assigned?
Numbers are assigned in the order orders are received — the first person to check out receives 001/500, the second receives 002/500, and so on. Waitlist members receive priority access 48 hours before the public, which typically means lower edition numbers.
Can I request a specific number?
We cannot reserve or guarantee specific numbers. Numbers are assigned automatically at checkout in order of purchase. If a particular number matters to you — a birthday, anniversary, or meaningful date — the best way to get it is to join the Waitlist for early access.
What is included in the box?
Every Lumenea puzzle includes: 500 laser-cut wooden pieces, a numbered certificate of authenticity with your unique number, an artist story card, and a premium rigid magnetic-closure box with linen-texture finish. All wrapped in branded tissue paper. Approximately finished puzzle dimensions: (X inches x Y inches).
How do I frame a completed puzzle?
Wooden puzzles can be glued and framed like any artwork. We recommend PVA puzzle glue applied evenly across the back after assembly, then letting it dry flat for 24 hours. The finished piece can be framed behind glass in a standard shadow-box frame. Many collectors display their Lumenea editions framed on walls. What is the material?
Every Lumenea puzzle is laser-cut from sustainably sourced hardwood with a premium matte finish. The pieces are individually shaped — each one unique — and have a satisfying weight and grain texture. This is not paper or cardboard. (Hardwood likely birch or basswood to be confirmed)
How long does shipping take?
Orders typically ship within 7 business days of purchase. US-based shipping via trackable carrier. You will receive a tracking number by email when your order ships.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, Lumenea ships within the United States only. International shipping may be added in future editions. Join the waitlist to be notified.
Can I return my puzzle?
Because every puzzle is numbered and part of a limited edition, all sales are final. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on numbered editions. If your puzzle arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@lumenea.art with photos of the damage. We will evaluate each case individually and provide a resolution.
How do I care for a wooden puzzle?
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and high humidity. If assembled and unglued, store flat. If framed, treat like any framed artwork.
Who is the artist for the current edition?
The Fall Edition 2026 features "Art name to be provided" by Artist name to be provided, a New York–based painter.
